Welcome to Damberger Trucking (1998)

Damberger Trucking is a family owned and operated trucking company servicing the community and the oil and gas sector in Southern Alberta. In January of 1998 seeing the opportunity that existed, Brent and Gord McRae acquired the business from Doris Damberger. Doris and Harvey Damberger had owned and operated a fleet of vacuum truck and tank trucks in the Pincher Creek area since the early 1980’s in which time they had built a well known and reputable business.

Before acquiring Damberger Trucking, Brent and Gord McRae owned and operated their own businesses. Brent and his wife Trish owned and operated the Esso bulk station in Pincher Creek for 18 years. Gord had 10 years experience as part owner and manager of Five Star Dodge Pincher Creek and Blairmore as well as 2 years as owner and manager of the Turbo bulk station in Blairmore. Alan McRae, seeing the opportunity for ownership in a growing and thriving business, came on board as an owner and manager a few years later.

In the 10 years since the acquisition, the company has seen some major changes including a new building, updated equipment and a wider arrangement of equipment and services to provide a range of services to our customers that is second to none. Damberger Trucking prides itself on the commitment it has to its customers and the community and attributes this to management’s commitment to operating a successful and respected company as well as its employee’s commitment to making our customers #1.

We invite you to take a look through our website and if you have any questions feel free to contact us, or if you are in Pincher Creek feel free to drop in, the coffee is always on.

Thanks,
The Management Team
